Go Teal
Beginning as a grass-roots campaign to spread awareness on Sexual Violence, my friends and I created a movement called Go Teal, which emphasizes the importance of sexual assault awareness, prevention, and response. Teal is the nationally recognized color for sexual assault awareness. Our name was a spin-off of MSU's famous, "Go Green, Go White!" cheer. As the movement began to gain momentum, we were mentioned in numerous media headlines and press releases including The Current, ComArtSci, The State News, WXYZ, MSU Today, WLNS 6, RHS, and The Spartan Newsroom.
American Advertising Association
Since 2018, I have served in some capacity for the American Advertising Federation. From Vice President of the Mid-Michigan Creative Alliance to the Lt. Governor of District 06, I am responsible for coordinating and planning the American Advertising Awards every year and making sure our delegated clubs have what they need to succeed in the ad space.
