Go Teal movement

Go Teal

Co-founder, Creative Director, PR Manager, Copywriter

Beginning as a grass-roots campaign to spread awareness on Sexual Violence, my friends and I created a movement called Go Teal, which emphasizes the importance of sexual assault awareness, prevention, and response. Teal is the nationally recognized color for sexual assault awareness. Our name was a spin-off of MSU's famous, "Go Green, Go White!" cheer. As the movement began to gain momentum, we were mentioned in numerous media headlines and press releases including The CurrentComArtSciThe State NewsWXYZ MSU TodayWLNS 6RHS, and The Spartan Newsroom.

Get Involved

This is not just an advertising campaign that creates buzz and then goes away. This is a movement that will not end until sexual violence ends. We will continue to grow, put on more events, and support a community of survivors. If you are interested in learning more or helping the movement grow, please reach out at speakup.goteal@gmail.com.
