Every two years, voters of Ingham county decide whether or not to keep funding the zoo. This means, for Potter Park Zoo in Lansing, they need to consistently increase awareness and show their voters why the zoo is an essential part of the community. Our Kids Love the Zoo campaign focuses on the importance the zoo has in the community as a place of education and imagination for children. Just as much as the kids need the zoo for education, the zoo needs these kids to be inspired, so they can grow up to conserve animals in the natural world and pass down that knowledge to their children.
